BANNU: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal ur Rehman (JUI-F) leader Akram Khan Durrani has been targeted on Friday with a bomb blast in Bannu.
Initial reports suggest that four people died and thirty-one sustained
injuries. However, Durrani is safe. The
injured include police officials and children. They were immediately transferred to the nearest local hospitals following the attack.
According to the police, Durrani’s convoy was headed towards a rally of JUI-F n
ear Bannu when the blast occurred

It is still unclear whether the attack was a suicide blast or a planted bomb.
Akram Khan Durrani is JUI-F’s candidate for NA-35 and is contesting for this seat against PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan.
