Two bogies of freight train on Saturday derailed a day after Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Ra
sheed inaugurated it. Accord
ing to details, the trai
n was mov
ing to Lahore from
Karachi when the mishap occurred. However, no loss of life has been reported.
The teams arrived at the scene and launched the rescue work to clear the railway track.
It is to be mentioned here that Sheikh Ra
sheed inaugurated the train on January 25 and said that he was go
ing to make Guinness world record by spending all his time in train from February 1 to 28.
He said the policy of zero tolerance to corruption will be implemented in the Pakistan Railways to put it on the path of progress.
