LAHORE: A furniture market in Lakshmi Chowk was engulfed in flames on Monday.
Officials said the fire
swallowed up huge quantities of furniture a
nd other equipmen
t in the market. The firefighters also reportedly faced difficulty in reaching the site due
to the narrow alleys and ongoing construction work on the metro train.
There has been no official con
firmation as
to the reason for the fire.
